Police in the UK have arrested a woman on suspicion of murder after a 7-year-old girl died on Sunday.
According to Sky News, the woman who is known to have some history of mental illness was arrested after the girl was stabbed to death in Queen’s Park, Bolton on Sunday afternoon.
It is reported that the young girl sustained horrific injuries and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Police investigating the incident say the woman who is not known to the girl or her family was arrested at the scene and is currently being questioned.
