Brazil’s health system is reportedly nearing collapse, as Government’s inaction and ineptitude are leading to worsening pandemic conditions.
The country’s death toll increased by no fewer than 100,000 on Thursday alone. Conservative estimates say that just over three hundred and three thousand people have so far died from Covid-19-related causes, though the true figure is likely far higher.
The sheer ineptitude of the current Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro is only dwarfed by that of former US President Donald Trump, who saw over half a million Covid deaths during his watch.
