Britain’s Chief Medical Officer Chris Whitty has warned that the eradication of the coronavirus is ‘technically impossible.’
He issued a stark warning saying that infections will begin to rise again if social distancing measures are not maintained over the coming weeks and months, adding that a second wave of Covid-19 is likely, and that it could be deadlier than the first.
He added that the pandemic is ‘a long way’ from finished.
