The British medicines regulator has approved the Pfizer vaccine for youngsters aged 12-15.
The Pfizer compound has been associated with heart inflammation events, a very serious side effect. The link between the Pfizer vaccine and these side effects was recently confirmed by Israel.
Despite this, the European Medicines Agency (EMA) recently approved the Pfizer jab for younger people.
Ireland’s own Minister for Health, Stephen Donnelly, referred to the prospect of injecting the product into young people as ‘very good news.’
