Met Eireann is saying that the weather over the Bank Holiday weekend will be mostly dry and sunny, with temperatures topping 20C at times.
Meanwhile, today, Friday, will also remain dry and sunny, with highs of 17-18C in the afternoon.
Saturday will start off rainy, mostly across Ulster, the midlands, and north Leinster. The rain will clear quickly though, giving way to a very pleasant day with temperatures passing the 20C mark.
Sunday is expected to be the best day of the long weekend, with long sunny spells and dry conditions expected.
The good news is that the pleasant weather is set to continue into next week.
