The British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has asked people to work from home, as the coronavirus situation has significantly worsened across the UK.
The PM has also ordered bars and restaurants to close at 10pm in a desperate attempt to curtail the spread of the virus.
He hinted that restrictions might be in place for the next 6 months, pouring cold water on any hopes of returning to normality any time soon, and dashing hopes of any ‘normal’ Christmas this year.
