The US President Donald Trump has called on the United Nations to hold China accountable for the current Covid-19 pandemic.
In a message to the annual UN meeting President Trump accused China of spreading false information about the seriousness of the virus.
Trump also told the UN that both Beijing and the World Health Organisation falsely declared that there was no evidence of human-to-human transmission.
The US President also stated that Beijing allowed the virus to leave China and infect the rest of the world.
He added that both Beijing and the WHO which is virtually controlled by China also provided false information by stating that people without symptoms would not spread the disease.
