Covid-19: Certain streets around Dublin city centre might be closed to prevent mass gatherings, following the outrage of the Chief Medical Officer and the Tanaiste

Certain streets around Dublin city centre might be closed to prevent mass gatherings, following the outrage expressed by the Chief Medical Officer and the Tanaiste over people enjoying themselves over the weekend.

Large crowds gathered around South Great George’s Street, Exchequer Street, and South William Street during the first weekend of fine weather.

But Ireland’s Chief Medical Officer Dr. Tony Holohan and Tanaiste Leo Varadkar were less than impressed, and wasted no time in making their personal outrage publicly known.

As a result, some areas around the capital might be fenced off as to not injure personal pride anymore.
