Covid-19: Chief Medical Officer says that ‘substantial socializing’ has resulted in the massive increase in coronavirus cases seen recently




Ireland’s Chief Medical Officer Dr. Tony Holohan has said that ‘substantial socializing‘ has resulted in the massive increase in coronavirus cases seen recently.

Dr. Holohan also mentioned the lifting of restrictions earlier this month as a contributing factor to the crisis.

Ireland is now in full Level 5 lockdown, chiefly due to the Government’s incompetence and premature lifting of lockdown restrictions.
