China has urgently re-introduced full lockdown measures following a new outbreak of Covid-19.
A total of 79 new cases have been detected over the last three days, most of them linked to a popular food market in Beijing. This follows almost two months with no new infections.
The new outbreak has already spread to nearby provinces, prompting the reintroduction of full lockdown measures for a number of areas.
The new outbreak is now raising international concerns of a second wave of coronavirus as just many countries emerge from the first lockdown.
