There are reports of civil unrest in Melbourne today, as the city enters its sixth lockdown since the start of the pandemic.
Protestors clashed with police, which proceeded to make a number of arrests.
The latest lockdown was imposed with less than four hours’ notice.
Melbourne and some surrounding areas will now be under lockdown for seven weeks at least.
