Covid-19: Coronavirus infection detected in Irish school

A coronavirus infection has been detected in an Irish school, less than 24h after young children and some older students returned to classrooms across Ireland.

It is understood that the case was detected at the Holy Family School for the Deaf on the Navan Road in Dublin.

Over 300,000 students returned to classrooms on Monday, so the possibility of further infections is highly likely.
