The coronavirus keeps spreading further across the US, with over 52,000 new cases confirmed on Friday alone.
The official death toll there now stands at over 129,000.
The dramatic increase in cases in recent days has been blamed on the Trump Administration’s disastrous handling of the pandemic, which includes a premature re-opening of the economy in a desperate bid to boost the President’s rapidly vanishing chances of re-election.
