Face masks become mandatory on Irish public transport from tomorrow, and anyone not wearing one might face a €2,500 fine or six months in prison.
From Monday morning, commuters will not be allowed to board trains or buses if they are not wearing a mask.
It remains unclear who will police the situation, as unions yesterday confirmed that bus or train staff will not do that to avoid confrontations.
