Government ministers continue to dither today about the urgent and unequivocal need to move to an immediate Level 5 lockdown, as proposed by the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) in recent days.
This is the second time that NPHET has made that desperate plea, but the Government has so far failed to heed by it.
The Government’s lack of resolution has caused further disease and death in Ireland, as the number of Covid-19-related infections and deaths continues to rise.
