The Government is today recommends that people wait to book foreign holidays ‘for at least three more months.’
The recommendation, made by Green Party leader and Transport Minister Eamon Ryan, comes hours after Ireland was plunged into a full Level 5 lockdown due to the relentless spread of Covid-19.
Up to 400,000 people are expected to go back to claiming the Pandemic Unemployment Payment (PUP) this week as a result.
