The Minister for Health Simon Harris has slammed the actions of those apparently ignoring advice about preventing the spread of the Coronavirus. You can see the full video below.
It is understood the Harris has made his comments after footage apparently showing a mass gathering at a popular Dublin pub appeared on social media this evening.
In a post on Twitter Minister Harris described the actions of those insulting especially as there are doctors and nurses working around the clock to prevent the spread of the virus just down the road.
Harris went on to urge the public to follow the very clear public health advice issued in the past few days.
Not far from here, nurses & doctors are working to prepare for the impact of a global pandemic. Everyone is working 24/7. This is an insult to their efforts. There is very clear public health advice.
