A Council of Foreign relations roundtable meeting titled “Doing Business Under Coronavirus” scheduled for to be held in New York had to be cancelled due to the spread of the coronavirus.
The CFR is a United States non-profit, elite think tank specializing in U.S. foreign policy and international affairs and is headquartered in New York City which was declared to be in a state of emergency due to the spreading Covid-19 virus by its Mayor, Bill de Blasio, earlier this week.
In the US the spread of the virus has led to the cancellation of 50 major corporate events with an estimated attendance of almost 1 million people, according to data collected by Bloomberg News.
