A health expert is warning that local lockdowns across Ireland are likely unless urgent changes are made.
Professor Tomas Ryan, associate professor at Trinity College Dublin, warned that current measures ‘are not working‘ and that new cases keep rising at a high rate.
Fifty new cases were confirmed in Ireland on Wednesday.
