Social media users are claiming that “idiots who went to the beach and pub” forced Boris Johnson to announce a practical complete lockdown on Monday evening.
The British government was basically left with no alternative other than initiate a full lockdown to stop the spread of the Covid-19 virus after many continued to disregard directions to social distance and avoid crowds.
While Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said there is no ban on going out for fresh air he was forced to impose more Draconian measures after viewing scenes of the country’s parks and beaches packed with people over the weekend.
The lockdown measures come after more than 300 Britons have now died after having tested positive for the Covid-19 virus.
