Irish authorities are today advising against travelling to ‘red zones’, which now include popular holiday destinations like Spain, France, and Italy.
According to guidance released by the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), most of mainland Spain plus the Canary Islands are now ‘red’ and ‘dark red,’ respectively.
Some areas in southern France are ‘dark red,’ while Italy is ‘orange.’
