The Australian city of Sydney has reported a record number of new coronavirus infections since the start of the pandemic.
The New South Wales state announced 356 new cases over the past 24h, a record high.
Around 5m people in the region are now under lockdown again, the seventh time since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic.
