The Irish Government is reportedly considering tightening travel restrictions to and from Britain, following the discovery of a new mutant strain of Covid-19.
The new strain is believed to result in a far more contagious disease, but its lethality appears to remain relatively low.
Italy, Belgium, and the Netherlands have already banned passenger flights from Britain for the foreseeable future.
