Irish health authorities have reported just over 12,100 new coronavirus cases over the past 24h.
Official figures say that there have been 12,138 new infections confirmed in that period of time.
Fifty-two new Covid-19-related deaths have also been reported. It’s not clear how many of these individuals were ‘fully’ vaccinated.
