Irish health authorities have reported just over 14,500 new coronavirus cases over the past 24h.
Official figures say that there have been 14,555 new infections confirmed in that period of time.
There currently are 940 people in hospital with severe coronavirus disease. It is unclear how many of these are ‘fully’ vaccinated.
