Irish health authorities have reported just over 3,700 new coronavirus cases over the past 24h.
Official figures say that there have been 3,735 new infections confirmed in that period of time.
There currently are 566 people with severe Covid-19-related disease in hospital today. It is unknown how many of these are fully vaccinated.
