Irish health authorities have reported just under 10,800 new coronavirus cases over the past 24h.
Official figures say that there have been 10,753 new infections confirmed by PCR test in that period of time.
There currently are 965 people with severe coronavirus-induced disease across Irish hospitals. It is unclear how many of these are ‘fully’ vaccinated.
