Covid-19: Irish medical board approves the administration of AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson vaccines to people aged 18-40, despite both jabs being banned elsewhere due to fatal side effects

Irish medical board approves the administration of AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson vaccines to people aged 18-40, despite both jabs being banned elsewhere due to fatal side effects.

The National Immunisation Advisory Committee (NIAC) has deemed both vaccines ‘safe’ for administration to the younger age group here in Ireland.

Both AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson compounds remain banned in more advanced countries such as Norway and Denmark due to known severe side effects that have caused several deaths.
