Sinn Féin leader Mary Lou McDonald has called for a shutdown of non essential business due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
Speaking to RTÉ News, McDonald said now is the time to implement a step change in how we deal with the outbreak.
McDonald said that it was key that non essential businesses be closed as social distancing is not possible.
The Sinn Féin leader added that people are enacting such measures at the weekend but are returning to work were such measures cannot be introduced.
