Minister for Health Simon Harris has warned that the ‘battle with Covid-19 is not yet won‘, and has advised against lifting restrictions too early.
The National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET), which Mr. Harris is part of, will meet today to discuss if Ireland can move on to ‘Phase 1’ of lockdown easing on Monday.
Mr. Harris recently said that ‘progress is clear but fragile’, and that the ‘virus is here and can be fatal.’
