The National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) is today proposing what’s perhaps one of the most rational ideas it’s ever had.
After spending months issuing random, ineffective, and idiotic guidelines, NPHET now says that mask usage should end in most settings. This is likely the agency’s one and only good decision.
If the Government accepts the proposal, people will no longer have to wear masks in schools, on public transport, taxis, retail premises, and public offices, possibly from next week.
