Nightclubs might open ‘within weeks,’ following the latest coronavirus restrictions update.
The current 8pm curfew -which, incidentally, implies the belief on the Government’s part that the virus is time-aware, and only infects people after that time- will remain until January 30 at least.
But there are hopes that restrictions might begin to be lifted ‘gradually’ from February, which might lead to nightclubs reopening.
Earlier guidelines issued by the bumbling Irish Government implied that people should start dancing the moment they entered nightclubs to remain safe from infection, and that the virus would only zap people who were sitting down inside music venues.
