Minister Heather Humphreys has said that businesses found to be non-compliant with new Covid-19 protection measures for staff might be shut down, according to the Irish Mirror.
The minister made the comments during the announcement of the Government’s Return to Work guidelines.
The protocol includes provisions for social distancing at the workplace, first aid, and other support measures for employees returning to work.
Any business found to not provide sufficient protection measures for staff might face fines and/or shut down.
