Non-essential shops reopened in England this morning, after almost three months of closure.
Bars and restaurants remain shut, however, and face coverings are mandatory across the public transport system.
Social distancing and other restrictions do remain in place across shops and other areas, which might put a dampener of people’s eagerness to go out and about, with some saying that the shopping experience ‘might never be the same.’
