French medical authorities have confirmed the death of the first French national from coronavirus disease.
The deceased, a 60-year-old man, passed away at the Pitie Salpetriere hospital in Paris.
Two new coronavirus cases have also been confirmed in France, one in Amiens and another in Strasbourg. It is understood that the latter case is a man who recently returned from Lombardy in Italy.
