The Department of Health has revealed that there has been no confirmed cases of coronavirus in Ireland.
Speaking at conference today chief medical officer Tony Holohan said that the country is still in containment phase and as of yet thankfully there are no confirmed cases.
Holohan who said that the Health department does of the capacity to deal with an outbreak, also revealed that there are a number of isolation rooms around the country that could be used in case of an outbreak.
He added that anyone who entered the country from an at risk area should be willing to report any symptoms if they have any.
