The Louvre Museum in Paris remained closed today, Sunday, due to concerns about the escalating coronavirus crisis.
A pop-up warning on the museum’s website advised visitors that the facility would remain closed for the day, and directed people to an email address to obtain refunds for their tickets. It is unclear whether or not the museum will open tomorrow.
There have been almost 87,000 confirmed cases of the disease worldwide, with more than 3,000 deaths so far.
