This year’s St. Patrick’s Day celebrations might be in jeopardy due to the worsening coronavirus outbreak.
It is understood that the Health Service Executive (HSE) will soon issue guidelines about ‘mass gatherings’ across Ireland, on foot of the rising number of infections in Europe and elsewhere.
There have been no confirmed cases of coronavirus here thus far, but a number of pupils who have just returned from Italy are being monitored as a precaution.
