Covid-19: Pandemic Unemployment Payment scheme likely to be extended until the summer, according to the Government

The Pandemic Unemployment Payment (PUP) scheme is likely to be extended until the summer, according to the Government.

The scheme was originally scheduled to end on March 31, but lockdown conditions are likely to remain in place for far longer, meaning people won’t be able to go back to work for some time yet.

The payment is worth up to €350 a week, depending on eligibility.
