Post offices across the country will be closed from 1pm on Friday until Tuesday in order to give staff a break.
In an announcement An Post confirmed that measures are being introduced in order to give staff a well earned rest as they worked relentlessly hard during the Covid-19 outbreak.
The company say that normal operations will resume on Tuesday following the bank holiday weekend.
