Covid-19: Pubs across Britain could remain shut until July as pandemic worsens

Pubs across Britain could remain shut until July as the Covid-19 situation deteriorates.

British Health Secretary Matt Hancock has hinted that July 17 might be the date when pubs and other non-essential establishments might reopen.

Health authorities there recently identified a new strain of coronavirus that’s up to 70% more transmissible, and might be up to 30% deadlier.
