The reopening of pubs next week is now in jeopardy amidst a huge increase in coronavirus cases.
So-called ‘wet’ pubs (pubs that do not serve food) have been closed for over six months. They were supposed to open on September 21st, but that’s far from clear due to the quickly worsening Covid-19 situation across Ireland.
The Government is due to publish a new set of guidelines about ‘living with the virus’ for the foreseeable future.
