Covid-19: Representatives of the hospitality sector say that Christmas is ‘canceled’ after finding out that NPHET wants them to shut down for business at 5pm

Representatives of the hospitality sector are up in arms and saying that Christmas is ‘canceled,’ after finding out that the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) wants them to shut down for business at 5pm from Monday.

NPHET’s plot to destroy the hospitality sector in Ireland is even more insidious than it seems at first glance, since the agency running the country held its hand until the week before Christmas, when business would be booming.

It is unclear why publicans, bar owners, etc. cannot simply refuse to heed NPHET’s advice, as most people do, and carry on as normal.
