The Governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis, has set aside eight million dollars to bus illegal aliens shipped into his state by the Biden administration out of the state and suggested they would be shipped to Biden’s personal home address in Maryland and Martha’s Vineyard, where former President Obama now lives.
At a Press Conference last weekend, the Republican Governor said:
“In yesterday’s budget, I put in $8 million for us to be able to transport people here illegally out of the state of Florida,” DeSantis announced in press conference Friday. “It’s somewhat tongue in cheek, but it is true, if you sent them to Delaware or Martha’s Vineyard or some of these places, that border would be secure the next day.”
Governor DeSantis also proposed financial penalties for private companies that worked with the federal government to bring illegal immigrants into Florida.
“Any private agency that brought illegal immigrants into the state will owe the state restitution,” DeSantis said.
The outspoken Republican has been a thorn in the side of the Biden administration in both his banning of vaccine and mask mandates in Florida, which is counter intuitively now the state with lowest rate of Covid-19 transmission to his opposition to Biden’s stance towards people illegally entering America.
