The Minister for Education, Joe McHugh, has said that schools ‘might not fully reopen in September,’ if current social distancing rules remain in place.
Schools, colleges, and other educational institutions closed down in March.
The current position is that schools will open in time for the 2020-2021 year, but that remains to be seen.
