A spokesperson for the HSE has said that a vaccine for Covid-19 ‘might never be found’, according to the Irish Mirror.
Several trials are currently underway, but a vaccine might take months, if not years, to develop, if at all.
A total of 1,631 people have so far died from Covid-19-related causes here in Ireland.
