Russia has reported just over 20,200 new coronavirus cases over the past 24h, a record high for the country.
Official figures say that there have been 20,224 new infections confirmed in that period of time.
Health authorities there also admitted that ‘fully’ vaccinated people are experiencing great levels of disease.
