Spain’s lockdown measures appear to not have worked, at least sufficiently to stop a widespread outbreak of covid-19.
The Spanish health department have announced that another 932 people have died in the last 24 hours and numbers dramatically rose to more than 117,000.
The total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in Spain now stands at over 117,000 while the total number of deaths now stands at 10,935.
Along with Italy, Spain is now the worst affected country in the world from coronavirus.
