Covid-19: Tanaiste Leo Varadkar tells Irish people living abroad to hold off booking any Christmas flights for now due to ‘higher risk’ of infection

Former Taoiseach appointee and current Tanaiste Leo Varadkar is today recommending that Irish people living abroad hold off booking any Christmas flights for now, due to ‘higher risk’ of infection.

He added that ‘international travel is a risk.’

With Christmas looming ever closer, the price of the few available flights is likely to skyrocket over the next few weeks, so people will be left with few options.
