Caretaker Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has said that outdoor gatherings of up to 5,000 might be allowed from September.
The ban of large gatherings will remain in place for the entire summer though, laying waste to festivals, concerts, etc.
Mr. Varadkar said that gatherings might be able to happen if the virus remains ‘suppressed’ by September.
